I used to be that girl in high school that toted around a disposable camera- yes, I just dated myself but that's how it was! Can you remember paying for film or developing pictures that you didn't even know what they looked like? And getting doubles? Ha- it's amazing how quickly technology changed the photography world! Enter the digital camera... my college roommate and I mastered the selfie back when you had to turn the camera and have good aim. Kids today have no idea how good they have it :)
My passion for photography grew when I purchased a DSLR camera before my first son was born. I quickly realized that just buying a fancy camera and using it on automatic mode wouldn't give me the images I was looking for so I took a Photography 101 course with our family photographer, Stephanie Knowles, that fueled my fire and developed into a love for the art of photography to capture my family's most precious moments. I'm a perfectionist by nature and enjoy a good challenge so naturally I needed to learn all the things. Unfortunately for me, my kids HATE their picture being taken so to get more practice I started taking family pictures for my friends. My passion grew even more to be able to provide others with beautiful memories of their growing families. I'm now here to serve others by documenting the magical moments in YOUR life!

I have 3 amazing sons (Brayden, Landon and Kyler) and a loving husband (Jeff)... so basically I live in a frat house! I guess growing up with 2 brothers and my husband having 2 brothers as well, we have known nothing other than boys so it must have been our destiny to have all sons! I grew up playing sports and participated in the daily wrestling matches at home which made me the tough independent woman I am today to handle all the testosterone (for now, it's dirt) that will be flowing around my household soon enough. All I can say is I'm glad we have a Costco membership!
I have worked with the same company for 16 years. I've accomplished a lot over my career and couldn't be more thankful to have done it with the same company and people I get to work with today. I'm not one to sit still... like ever... so during my maternity leave with my 3rd son, I started this photography business because I had some free time on my hands :) Photography is so fulfilling to me to be able to create the visions I have in my head and I couldn't be more excited about this journey.
I love experimenting with new ideas so if you have any, I'm in!

I have 3 blonde-haired, blue-eyed sons: Brayden (10), Landon (6) and Kyler (2). they are the loudest, dirtiest (so dirty!), funniest little kids that never stop moving or talking and play all the sports. There isn't a day of the week that we aren't at a practice or game and we love it!

I've very competitive and love a good challenge. I started with my current employer 16 years ago in an entry level position and have worked my way up to senior vice president and sit on the board for our women's employee resource group - empowering women is my jam!
